The Bronneberg Forfex-400 alligator shear is equipped with 400 mm blades. This hydraulic alligator shear is ideal for cleaning light and intermediate non-ferrous metals. In addition, this Bronneberg shear can be used to shear ferrous metals such as concrete reinforcing bars and common steels too.

This easy-to-operate and easy-to-maintain equipment is equipped with a mechanically adjustable pre-compression working in conjunction with a protective housing on the cutting head. The pre-compression prevents material loss and guarantees operator safety.

The shearing head is operated by a foot pedal for single or continuous cuts. The shear opening can simply be adjusted by changing the position of the limit switch. To optimize operator safety, the shear immediately returns to its starting position when the operator removes his foot from the pedal.
